I started flying when I was seventeen years old on the east side of Beverly Municipal airport. My first lesson was in a C-152u. From that day forward I was hooked. I changed instructors quite a bit during my first few hours because they all kept leaving, but eventually I soloed at around 10 hours.
Fairly soon after my first solo, I moved to the west side of the airport in search of non-transient instructors. I was able to find such a phenomenon to my surprise. I finished up my private and my instrument there with the same instructor and only changed when I started my commercial training.
Currently, I am 19 years of age. I hold a private license with instrument and complex privilages. I hope to acquire my commercial and flight instructor ratings sometime during the summer of 2001. I will be seeking part-time employment as a pilot after acquiring these ratings and eventually a full-time job as an aviator once I graduate from college.
